In villages and urban slums of Kurnool District, many women lack education and employable skills, often resorting to low-skilled jobs or domestic work. SERUDS has conducted thorough baseline surveys to identify the skills needed in the job market, developing targeted training programs to address these gaps. Your support ensures that these women can become self-sufficient and break free from the cycle of poverty.
Vocational Training Programs: Unlocking Opportunities
Our focus lies in providing vocational training programs that equip women with essential skills. Your donations contribute to initiatives such as:
Computer Software Skills Training:
Duration: 6 months Syllabus: Computer Fundamentals, MS Office, DTP, Internet Concepts, and Soft Skills. Aim: Creating sustainable livelihoods by meeting the demand for computer-trained professionals in Kurnool and other districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Tailoring & Embroidery Training:
Duration: 3 months Outcome: Participants receive a free branded sewing machine and tool kit. Support: Assistance in establishing units, purchasing raw materials, and selling finished products.fe.
